Where can I find a crystal ball and accesories for a Gypsy costume?

I need something inexpensive for a crystal ball to go with my Gypsy costume. I wasn't sure where to find one. I never actually looked for one before, and I don't know if party city sells them. If not, would one of those fushigi things work? Where would I be able to find other gypsy accessories. I'd really appreciate it if someone could find accessories to go with this costume, because I was asked to do a kind of fortune teller thing for a , and I had already pre-deicded to be a gypsy, so I need these accessories. Thanks!

Party city will have all the accessories you need once Halloween rolls around. As for the Crystal Ball, you can just pay $3 - $4 and go up to big lots right now and buy one of those bouncy balls with water & something inside. Thus, if someone knocked it over, you would only have to pick it up, because these balls don't break easy, but if you got a real crystal ball, if someone knocked it over and you had tile or wooden flooring, that would be a waste. no offense to those of you who are ACTUALLY gypsies =D but I wanted to dress up like one for halloween. I will of course Google the pictures and follow that.

But I wanted to get some advice on here too. I do not want to buy a costume because I'll have to pay a lot and have problems finding my size. So I like to be creative.

1st one- 4 because it's gypsy and gypsys dont really scare people
2nd one-7 because its the best and red is the second best colour at halloween!!

I know Halloween has just passed, but i'm board, so i thought i'd give it some thought.

What would be the best costume to wear for halloween?

I am a 24 y/o f and I am going to a friend's halloween party on Saturday, I want 2 dress up. I want to have it be but not overdone costume. These are my ideas, which is the best?:

---The good witch from The Wizard of Oz
---a princess
---a fairy
---snow white (I have been told actually I look like her bc of my blue eyes dark hair and fair skin)

Colorful clothes.

Long wide skirt.

White short sleeved shirt with cleavage.

Colorful vest.

Some cloth on your head, like a bandana sort of thing.

Big earings, preferably loops. Flashy jewelery, many necklaces, and certainly waaay too many bracelets. If it is not too cold, go barefeet, or some very plain shoes with anklets.

Trace your top eyelid (at the lash line) with black eyeliner and make the line a lot longer than your eyelid then trace your bottom eyelid with the eyeliner (u should probably use it right under your lower eyelashes this time) and connect the bottom line to the top one
i would use blue eyeshadow up to right under your brow bone and shiny eyeshadow above that
use red (or close to red) lipstick but not bright red more of an apple colored shade

What shoes should I wear with this costume?

I am going to a Halloween party as a gypsy princess. I am stuck on finding shoes to wear that will look good and not make me look funny. My mom suggested these clear spaghetti strap heels. But they are mostly silver and the costume has a good amount of gold in it. Any ideas for different shoes? I have a pair of brown wedge heel shoes that MIGHT work but I don't know. So for a future job, we would have to dress up as people in carnivals (gypsies, jesters,clowns...) for Halloween. Lots of bangle bracelets in gold and silver, huge , long gold or silver necklace.
Gypsies were known for being thieves, so maybe carry around a small treasure chest full of costume jewelry.
As far as make-up, rosy cheeks, red lips, and blue/green eye shadow!

I'm going to a Renaissance Fair as a Roma (Gypsy) man, does anyone have any good ideas for anything to add as period appropriate accessories. right now I have a red hat with a large yellow plume, black poet shirt, my grandma's old hand sewn Roma mirrored vest (I'm of Romani heritage) black arabian style pants, red nimble shoes, a red sash with gold coins and plenty of rings and necklaces. I think that for the headband, you can make by your self

but for being a gypsy, wear long flowing clothes,
like a blouse and a long sarong or something.

Then wear a lot of jewlery and wear a bandana.

Ok so my boyfriend and I are going to a Halloween party next month and we wanted to dress as a couple. I would really like to dress as a gypsy but I don't know what he should dress up as then? Any ideas? Be serious please!

Other ideas I have are me dressing up as a playboy bunny and him be Hugh Hefner in a bathrobe and silky pjs or me being a pimpette and him being a prostitute. But I don't know how to make him look like a prostitute that he'll go along with lmao so that one's probably a no lol

Ive got this one covered :D last year ftw

do a black tight middle and then crisscross silver across the chest (ending under the black) then do a flowy black skirt (like you'd see Nick do on Project Runway season 2, but shorter!) and then do really thin poofy silver (sparkly) sleeves that you can see through

do lots of eyeliner and mascara then do a deep burgandy for lips and silver/black smoky eye with dark or light brown blush

do heavy jewelry i.e. 50c ball necklaces used as bracelets in diff colors (silver black white and gold pref.) and then do an ankle bracelet and strappys

(my pref.) use Fredrick Fekkai volumizing hair gel, it is extremely light and you only need a pea sized amount, it makes your hair FLOW through the air and it holds it werever u want it to! (can get at Bath & Body Works) (dont do anything but volumizer to hair, keep it natural)
