I am going to the renaissance faire this Saturday and I threw together a costume from goodwill, but I have no hat. What kind of hat should I wear and where can I find one? Don't say a Robin Hood hat, cuz thats like medieval, not renaissance

ok i was just infromed by my parents that we r going 2 the renaissance festivle tomorrow and i got ride of my old costumes because they didnt fit so please help me how could i make a fast costume with little sewing?
If you're OK with going as a wench--long full skirt (with possibly another one over it that you can gather), white top with a dark vest over it, wide belt, maybe a snood-type hair cover.

I am going to the Bristol, Wisconsin Renaissance Faire next weekend with a couple people and we totally are going to get into the renaissance spirit and we need costumes, what would be possible costumes that I could easily throw together from my own wardrobe stuff and some goodwill stuff? 2 guy costumes and 1 girl costume is needed
Go as serfs. All you need is rags. Not everyone was the Queen or nobility back in the good old days. Beige or brown bath robes and loose fitting pajama like pants. Wrap your shoes in rags also. Don't bathe for a week, pick up some lice at the local elementary school, grab a turkey drumstick and down that grog.

im going to the texas renaissance festival this friday and i need to know how much money to bring and i do not know how much it costs to rent a costume... does anyone know what the average price to rent a costume is?
i'm not sure, i thought u wore the costume thee, not get one there. is there a website for it?
