I am going to Vegas next month and love to buy a new bellydance outfit while I am down there. Does anyone know the name/location of a store where I can buy an outfit? Thanks!!
i have googled, yahooed and checked yellowpages.com but no luck...
Does anyone know a specific store name?
I am sure that the phone book or a google search will yield the names of costume shops or stores that supply dancers in the area. Checking several would allow you to comparison shop for the best value.

I am looking for real ethnic Curl toe Shoes. Not unlike the ones we see people wearing in the Middle East or in Aladdin. Does anyone know where I can find them? I need them for a costume and cannot find them anywhere.
you can buy them here is the link from ebay:

Such as hip scarves, skirts, harem pants, choli tops, etc? Links to pics (examples for future reference) would also be appreciated.
make sure evrything u wear iz glitzy. Generallly, there are two color schemes u should stick with. Red, gold, and orange. OR Green, turquiose, and silver. Avoid black at all costs. Wear gauchos in one of the above color schemes. Over this u can wear a different colored (but still in ur scheme) hip scarf. Wear a loose chain belt (silver or gold based on ur color scheme, once again) over the pants, make sure they do not obscure the belly area. U have to be exceptional to pull off a halter top. For some reason, tank tops look more traditional. Make sure nothings covering the bally area. The longest necklace u wear should not pass the bottom of our shirt. Necklaces: layered thin chains with lots of little shiny bits and pieces. Make sure to layer with chokers. Your pants should be long, but not obscuring the ankles preferably, as anklets are almost essential to a belly dancer. Try to find something flashy with bells. Hair should be put in a genie ponytail. The grip u use can either be plain black or one of those puffy silky hair ties. try to avoid anything else in between (aka normal hair grips with one or two little designs on them). Another option is to loosely curl hair so it is bouncy, then put it up in a very loose updo, sort of like a loose bun with curls flying evrywhere. For shoes, go with metallic flats if you are doing something realistic like a play. However, if this is for personal purposes to look good or entertainement, metallic (bronze) heels work fine too. AS for bracelets, go with many tight beaded bracelets or a couple loose bangles. Try large, flashy chandelier earrings. If u have the time and resourced, buy some body jewels, those plastic stickies for jewel tatoos or whatever. Use them sparsely in a flatterning pattern on face. For example, put one in between eyebrows for a middle eaastern look. Make a ring around the outer edges of the eyes to look exotic. Be creative.Hope this helped a little bit!

I am visiting Marakesh this year and being a bellydancer I would love to pick up some professional costumes. Does any one know where's good to go and how much I'd be looking to pay??
I would go to "Jamaa el fna" it's a big outdoor marketplace in Marrakesh. Be prepared to bargain. I wouldn't spend more than $30 or 300 dirhams ( the local currency). Do not hesitate to ask locals ( hotel staff, tour guides) once you're there, the may have valuable tips for you.
