Larger image when cursor hovers on thumbnail?
I got a code from a website to do this but I'm new and don't really know how to use it. I have an HTML page open in dreamweaver that's blank except for a single (approx) 300x400px image on it. My question is:
-Do I insert a thumbnail image and this code will make it bigger with cursor is over it? or vice versa? or do I need to upload both size images?
- Do I put this code on every image I upload?
If someone could help this stupid newbie, it would be much appreciated.
I've pasted the code that's on my page and then the one from the website underneath it. Can somebody put it together the way I'm supposed to use it? (I asked this nearly 3 days ago from the Dreamweaver "ask an expert" help forum and still haven't gotten an answer. The code I want to use is taken from this website: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/css-popup-image-viewer/
Here's my code:
<img src="file:///C|/Documents and Settings/LorriG/My Documents/DESTINY LEE JEWELRY/pale agate frame.jpg" width="400" height="600" />
Here's the thumnbail code:
![]()

Simply beautiful.
PS- The demo image has a title underneath "simply beautiful." I don't really need that

Image file path CAN NOT be file:///c:... As that path is only on your computer and will not work online.
All you need to do is put the css in and set your paths to the thumnails and the larger images as shown at DynamicDrive.

To all those who ask "What does this have to do with GLBT"?
I have a question for you all...
Who made you the GLBT forum police with the authority to police our questions? Why are your lives so boring that you have to sit and analyze the relevance of each and every question that comes in here and whether it is "worthy" be deemed qualified to post in this section or not?
Some of us that have been out in the GLBT world for over 10 years have come to a point in our lives where being GLBT isn't the main priority of our life and we are normal people who ask normal questions and live normal lives, and ask questions pertaining to our normal lives.
Maybe some of us get tired of every question we see having the words "gay", "bi", "lesbian", "rainbow", or the ever popular teenage identity drama questions of "does this make me gay/bi/lesbian?" or "I have a crush on my best friend..." or "If I wear this jewelry on this side does that make me gay/lesbian?" or "How do I know if I'm gay/bi/les?" questions. Because honestly? I"m sick of it.
Most of us who come in this section KNOW we are in GLBT. We know where we are and what we are, and who we're asking questions to. Do we really have to define it with adding "GLBT" or "I'm gay/les/bi" in the headline of our question?

Excuse me? I actually have a badge from the LGBT Y!A PD. I'd show it to you, but then I'd be forced to arrest you, and that would just involve way too much paperwork. I have a gun, too, but it only shoots virtual bullets.

Would this be appropriate attire for the investiture?
I continue to seek the assistance of the good folk of this forum regarding attire for the upcoming investiture I shall be attending. Would this ensemble be appropriate? It consists of a chartreuse trouser suit with large belled trouser legs (both jacket and trousers are constructed out of silk and both have sheer chiffon overlay with gold-leaf floral motif sewn onto the chiffon). Footwear will consist of knee-length silk shimmer hosiery with dyed-to-match chartreuse satin heels with the same gold-leaf floral motif (as the chiffon overlay of the jacket and trousers) sewn onto the satin. Millinery will be a similarly-coloured chartreuse large-brimmed hat with one large gold rose pinned to the right side (matching the roses on floral motif of jacket, trousers, and satin heels). Jewelry will consist of paste pearl and diamond (cubic zerconia) drop earrings and strand of paste pearls that drapes in three descending strands (one at mid-chest length, one at lower-chest length, and one at just-above-naval length). I shall don coral coloured gloves. My heels are peep-toed so I will don a light coral nail varnish on my toes. I shall carry a clutch handbag in a coral tone (to match my gloves and toenail varnish). The handbag is bedazzled with cut crystals and a charming hanging fringe. Please be reminded that I can not wear a frock because of the disfigurement of my legs and ankles due to benign cysts. I did, with the aid of my niece, search for a tea-length mother-of-the-bride gown, but was unable to find one suitable for my ample size (I have a large bosom and small waist and am very difficult to fit). It is difficult for me to shop due to my advancing age, therefore, I am hoping to wear the ensemble I describe. I wore it to the wedding of my grandnephew two summers ago. Thank you kindly.

You would need a dress to go there. If you don't want to have nude colored hose. You could wear dark leggings with it. But the dress is mandatory.

Do you think people are full of crap?
I have bought many antiques. I love antiques. Especially Edwardian styles. I love old German cuckoo clocks and French antique dolls or costume jewelry, I even buy old laces and vintage hankies and mirrors to re-purpose for my house. Not ONCE, have I ever been haunted by anything. I get on this forum and people act as if it's the norm to get haunted simply because you buy a second-hand item. This annoys me, why? Are people allowing themselves to be educated by paranormal shows?
Hey Ellwood, maybe you can introduce me to him so I can ask him?
All I'm saying is that I see people posting answers about how they just pick up random antiques and several of their items have been haunted. I pick up random stuff and visit antique malls all the time and I have never seemed capable of bringing home a spirit. Ooooooo. Maybe I am not special? Or is it really people full of it?

To answer simply, yes. A lot of people are full of crap. They listen to every story they hear, whether it be reality, fiction or just complete BS and accept it without question. Their apparent lack of logic and the way they so frequently contradict themselves makes that much clear.
If it were the case that every (or a lot of) old objects had spirits attached, how come you never hear about haunted museums? Why do people go ghost hunting in graveyards when people die in hospitals and retirement homes? Some people fall for all of this nonsense, hook, line and sinker. Every time. The minute a series about psychics starts on the TV...lo and behold, a ton of people convince themselves that they're psychic.
People need to stop relying on TV, the internet, films, fiction and "things their friends told them" as sources of information. They need to start using common sense instead.

Makeup type pen pal questions?
I'm doing a pen pal type of thing with a girl on Makeupalley.com. We agreed to send each other things once or twice a month and include a letter. Since we are on a makeup forum, most of the things I am going to send will be makeup. She is from Poland, so I was wondering what brands of makeup are most wanted over there that are only sold here? No high end makeup. What else could I include? I was thinking maybe a candle and some sort of jewelry. What's something that would make you smile when you opened up a box?
