I have a medieval fair at my school and we have to make a costume for our occupation and mine is match-maker. Any suggestions??
Thanks ![]()
First you need to decide what social economic class this character would belong in. Your costuming needs to stay true to her class; you don't have a poor woman dressing like a princess.
After that, it's all about role playing. You need to decide how she should act, what she would say and do. How does she go about being a match maker? What other responsibilities does she have? Where does she live? Who does she work for? How is she paid?
Here is a link to a costume shop that has a great selection of Medieval costumes for sale or rent.
